We could alternatively share them by Flickr mail too but that does require that both parties wish to communicate in that way. The TPP files seem to be simple XML files and so you could present those in a text format in the image notes, I suppose. The scale and resolution of the source image can make a massive difference to the result, for example.Ĭ) whilst the mechanism is there for sharing the presets via the exporting/importing of TPP files, the question is how do we conveniently share these files on Flickr (assuming that we don't want the hassle of having to hand-write all the settings down). They are not quite as transferrable from image to image as you might imagine. With respect to your comment, I would be happy to share my own presets but I'd make the following points in addressing your question:Ī) I would expect a certain degree of protectionism will mean that some users are not prepared to share their secret settings, especially since some folk already seem to be selling their tutorials rather than sharing them for free. Are people here showing their settings along with images? But I don't see that going on in this group. I see topaz has the ability to share presets.
