Really happy with the A+ AppĬan you ensure you have the latest version of Audirvana on your Mac? The current is 3.5.25. Sound quality output from Audirvana is excellent. Output is via USB to a Digital Analog Converter and then the Hi Fi system. The Mac is connected by Ethernet cable rather than wirelessly with both Audirvana and Qobuz programs left open. The JRiver remote control app works well but the advantage of A+ Remote is that it will play albums from Qobuz (and Tidal) and it’s easy to switch between the local library and the streaming service for individual tracks as well as albums and I find it works seamlessly with no annoying breaks. I use the A+ Remote to select albums ripped onto a Mac-mini with JRiver. This is the main benefit of Audirvana for me so no 5 star review unless it can be fixed. Cannot find any information about fixing this in support area. Completely unpopulated screen for local and Qobuz music. Update: The new version of this app (as of ) does not show Favorite Albums, Tracks or Artists. New interface is quick and stable and in my view, an improvement. If you want to see the upcoming track you can do it by going in the play queue by taping the icon on the right corner of the screen in the playback screen.Īudirvana on Mac-mini and A+ Remote Work Brilliantly Hello, thank you for your feedback regarding our Remote App. Will use iTunes until I can find some professional software. Last few days, app won’t play anything so I’m done. When buying an app for use with a 14K audio system I guess I’m expecting it to work, not to have to troubleshoot every time I want to listen to music.too much to ask I guess. And no chance of a refund, nice System! To all those giving *glowing* reviews - lucky you. TBH, I would have happily paid 10 x the price for an app THAT WORKED! I wouldn’t suffer with this if it were free.

*** UPDATE *** Received a ‘considered’ reply (minus any ref’ to faults, obviously :/) from developer - thank you. £3.99 and the promise of a ‘really good app’ would be a fairer price for this work in progress. that ol’ temptation of swiping left or right to browse then tapping a track’s artwork to choose - ahhh those were the days! I guess we’ve outgrown intuition. And perhaps most annoying of all, the playback screen does not allow browsing previous or upcoming tracks without actually playing them. App seems to have a hard time dealing with its data.
